Our Academics
Small learning centers and multi-age classes create an intimate community in which each student is known personally. At Willow Tree Learning Center Corp., we believe that parental involvement is key to student success. Starting in 3rd grade, each student is placed in a small advisory group with an advisor who fosters connections between the learning center and students' broader communities. To support this partnership, we offer special classes, allowing parents to engage directly with their children's education, and provide guidance on how to enhance learning at home. Together, we create a nurturing environment that empowers both students and their families.
" Project-based learning (PBL) is at the heart of Rock by Rock's learning
model making education relevant through real-world challenges.
Students take on purposeful missions linking their learning to global
issues, career skills, and personal growth. Projects also encourage the
development of life habits such as curiosity and a learner mindset,
equipping students with skills to navigate challenges effectively. These
interdisciplinary tasks spark creativity, build problem-solving abilities, and
encourage collaboration. Dedicated PBL time allows students to dive into
meaningful work—like designing awareness campaigns through
podcasts or weather reports—that integrates research, data analysis, and
communication skills."
